Daily Bread: When Faith Is Greater Than Fear

😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:

“By FAITH he left Egypt without FEAR of the king’s wrath. He endured just as he SAW what was NOT SEEN. By faith he instituted the Passover and the sprinkling of BLOOD, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch them. By FAITH they CROSSED the Red Sea as if they were crossing dry land, whereas the Egyptians drowned, when they tried too.”
(Hebrews 11:27-29 ESV)

O Lord, grant me faith from Your word that enables me to distance myself and abandon fleshly desires, to leave “any egypt” in my life and choose Your way.

Help me so that my heart honors You and fears God more than people. Enable me to keep standing and be able to see Your promise and Your goodness even though it is not yet visible.

Because of faith from your word, O Lord, I believe that by the blood of Jesus, the Son of God, the power of the devil, the enemy of my soul, cannot touch me and my family. Together with the faith that comes from hearing the words of Christ, which arises in my heart, God strengthens me through all the difficulties of life.
In Jesus’ name I pray.
