What is Baptism?
Baptism is a public expression of an inward transformation, demonstrating our faith and trust in Christ. Being immersed in water before fellow believers represents the end of our old, sinful life. Rising from the water signifies a fresh start and new life in Jesus, making it a joyous occasion.
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
