😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:
“And to which of the angels has He ever said: ‘Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet’? Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve those who will inherit salvation?”
(Hebrews 1:13–14)
Verse 13 quotes Psalm 110:1, spoken concerning Jesus: “Sit at My right hand…”
Imagine: that you could see the heavenly realm. You see a glorious throne room, and Jesus seated at the right hand of God the Father—JESUS SEATED, signifying that His work of redeeming humanity from sin has been completed and that He has been crowned as King.
In the heavenly realm there are also countless angels, appearing mighty and powerful. Yet not one angel has ever been invited to share the throne of God. That place belongs only to the Son. It is the highest position of honor, authority, and victory.
“(Jesus Christ) … being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross. Therefore God highly exalted Him and gave Him the name above every name, SO THAT AT THE NAME OF JESUS EVERY KNEE SHOULD BOW, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,”
(Philippians 2:8–10)
I worship Jesus, the Son of God, who is seated at the right hand of God the Father. By grace, each day my soul trusts and rests in the finished work of Christ’s redemption onnthe cross. Amen.
Bless you
