God’s word today:
“He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,”
(Hebrews 1:3 ESV)
Jesus is not merely a great teacher or a moral example. He is “the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature.” TO SEE JESUS IS TO SEE GOD.
He perfectly reveals who God is—His holiness, His love, His truth, and His grace.
He is also the One who “upholds the universe by the word of His power.”
“And God SAID, “Let there be light,” and there was light.” (Gen. 1:3 NIV)
The same voice that spoke creation into being still sustains every breath, every moment, every detail of our lives. Nothing is outside His authority.
Yet this glorious Son humbled Himself. In obedience to the Father’s will, He went to the cross and made purification for our sins. He did what we ourselves could never able to do—He had redeemed our sins and cleansed us, once and for all. Amen.
And now, He is seated at the right hand of the Majesty on high. The work of salvation is finished. The King reigns, and His victory is complete. Amen.
This is who Jesus is: fully God, powerful over all, Savior for sinners, and reigning King. Amen.
So the question is personal: do you only know about Him, or do you know Him?
Yes, I believe in Jesus, my God and my Lord. Yes, I have known Jesus is the true living God. Amen.
Today and forever, I worship Jesus and surrender my life to Him. Amen.
