😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:
“praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.”
(Ephesians 6:18-20 NKJV)
Prayer is not the least piece of the armor—it is the breath of the soldier. You can wear truth, righteousness, faith, and salvation, but without prayer, you become spiritually dry and vulnerable. Prayer keeps your heart connected, your mind alert, and your mission clear.
“Praying always” speaks a continual dependence. This doesn’t mean nonstop talking, but a constant God-awareness (cf. 1 Thess. 5:17). Just as a soldier stays alert in enemy territory, the believer lives in ongoing communion with God. Spiritual warfare is not occasional—it is daily.
Paul was “in-chain” means when he wrote letter to the Ephesians he was indeed in a prison. Notice Paul’s request: he doesn’t ask, “Pray that I get out of prison,” but “Pray that I speak boldly.”
That exposes something:
we often pray for easier circumstances, while God calls us to pray for stronger witness.
So today:
* In quiet keeps your conversation with God throughout your day
* Bring specific needs before Him
* Lift up other believers, not just yourself
* And ask for courage—not comfort—to speak Christ
Because in the end, spiritual victory is not just about standing firm—
it is about speaking the gospel boldly, even when your circumstance is tough.
Bless you
