😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:
“Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.”
(Ephesians 6:5-8 NKJV)
Ephesians 6:5–8 invites us to reconsider the meaning of our work and service. The world says, “Work well so that you may be seen and appreciated.” But God’s Word says, “Work well as if you are serving the Lord.”
Often we feel tired when our efforts are not noticed, or when our leaders, managers, are unfair. Yet this passage reminds us that there is One who always sees—God Himself. Every small thing we do faithfully is never wasted in His eyes.
God looks at our hearts more than our position. Do we work sincerely? Do we serve willingly? Do we remain faithful even when no one is watching?
Let us change our perspective: our workplace is an altar, our tasks are offerings, and our lives are acts of worship. When we serve with a heart focused on Christ, ordinary work has eternal value.
O Lord, shape my heart to labor faithfully for You above all, and to serve people with sincerity. Help me to be faithful in the small things and joyous in every responsibility. Amen.
Bless you
