God’s word today:
God says:
“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9 NLT)
If God’s way and thought are not like our way and thoughts and hopes, then our part is to choose ‘to humble ourselves, obey and surrender completely’ to God’s ways and thought.
GOD’S WAY IS ALWAYS GOOD and RIGHT.
Although going through sometimes we have to experience unpleasant and uncomfortable things. If we rebel against God’s way and thought then the process we have to go through will actually take longer, just like what happened to the Israelites when they were brought out of slavery in Egypt to go to the promised land; because of their unbelief and refusing to follow God’s commands and ways it was only after 40 years later that the Israelites were able to enter the promised land.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;”
(Proverbs 3:5 NIV)
