Daily Bread: Shielded By God’s Power Through Faith

God’s word today:

“who through faith are SHIELDED BY GOD’s POWER until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.”
‭‭(1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

When apostle Peter wrote about
being shielded by God’s power “THROUGH FAITH”, he was telling us that our faith in the Lord Jesus is not only about the salvation of our spirit and soul, but also concerns God’s care in everyday life. If a believer in Jesus truly believes that he is cared by God’s power, then he will be shielded, protected from worries of the future. We can also be more peaceful in living our lives because God’s care goes beyond anything we can work out to fulfill life’s needs.

I will work and do other life activities with peaceful mind for I believe that my God will preserve and shield my life by His power. Amen.
