Daily Bread: Hearing & Keeping The Word Of God

😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:

“But He said, “More than that, BLESSED are those who hear the word of God and keep it!””
‭‭(Luke‬ ‭11‬:‭28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

Desiring to experience a blessed and happy life is a normal and good. Everyone definitely wants a happy and blessedness in their life. Speaking about happiness and blessedness most people will measure it only materially or what is visible. Many would think if a person has a lot of possessions, luxurious houses and cars, or living like a celebrity or high-ranking persons, then their daily lives automatically always be filled with laughters and happiness. The fact is even the rich and famous can also be very unhappy in their lives, even their lives destroyed because of wealth.
Although there is an ease and a measure of happiness by having abundance of wealth, yet wealth in itself cannot be a sure security for having a true happy life because wealth is like a ‘bird that can fly away and disappear’.
We know this from God’s word:
“Don’t wear yourself out trying to get rich. Be wise enough to know when to quit. In the blink of an eye WEALTH DISAPPEARS, for it will sprout wings and FLY AWAY LIKE AN EAGLE.”
‭‭(Proverbs‬ ‭23‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

I believe Jesus’ teaching, therefore I declare according to my Lord’s word:
‘Blessed and happy I am who choose to hear the word of God, do it and I live according to His instructions.’ Amen.
