Daily Bread: A Life That Testifies to God’s Goodness

God’s word today:

Psalm 92 describes the life of a righteous person, namely someone who believes in God and lives according to His word. The righteous will flourish like a palm tree that is fertile with its fruit, like the cedar of Lebanon which is famous for being strong. And in their old age they are still full of spirit, vitality, and being a blessing. Yes, old age is not just about passing the time to die, but for the righteous old age makes them have many testimonies and experiences about God and His ways.

So, when God entrusts old age to His children, it is not without purpose. Not just to breath. But to be witnesses of God even to future generations.

GOD’S WILL IS THE LONGER YOU LIVE, THE MORE STORIES OF HIS GOODNESS YOU CAN PROCLAIM.

“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”” Amen.
