Daily Bread: Set Free From The Fear Of Death

😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:

“The Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying” (Hebrews 2:14-15 NLT).

Fear of dying is a universal fear, nobody is exempt from it! Yet death is a fact.
But did you know Jesus saved you from that fear? That’s right—Jesus didn’t just save you from your sin. He also saved you from the power of death and from fear of death – “”…HE SET FREE all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying”

Praise God! Death is not the end. We don’t have to fear it, for Jesus, the Son of God, had became a human being with flesh and blood, and died on the cross.

I believe Jesus Christ died on the cross in my place; I believe Jesus’ death has defeated the power of death; therefore I am not afraid. Death does not have power over me. And I know physical death is just a transfer, and I know where I’m going when its time comes. For I trust completely in Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Amen
