God’s word today:
“Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day.”
(Psalms 96:1-2 NIV)
The phrase “new song” is a song that comes from the heart out of gratitude to God and because of an experience with God. Even though the song may be an old song, if it is sung from a renewed heart, then it is a ‘new song’, and we gain new strength to live godly life.
O Lord, may my heart always be full of gratitude to You and may You hear new songs that come out of my mouth. Amen.
