Daily Bread: The Blood Of Jesus, Our Confidence

Shalom 😇 to all.
Firman Allah hari ini:

“Jadi, saudara-saudara, OLEH DARAH YESUS kita sekarang penuh KEBERANIAN dapat masuk ke dalam tempat kudus,”
‭‭(Ibrani‬ ‭10‬:‭19‬ ‭TB‬‬)

Ada suatu rintangan rohani yang sering tak disadari telah mengggangu hubungan orang kristen dengan Allah maha kudus. Yaitu ketika mereka merasa mempunyai hal-hal yang benar di dalam diri sendiri sehingga merasa layak menjadi orang kristen, layak datang beribadah, layak melayani Tuhan di gereja, layak berdoa, dll. aktifitas rohani.

Padahal tidak ada seorangpun manusia yang sungguh benar, semua sudah tercemar dosa –
“seperti ada tertulis: ”Tidak ada yang benar, seorang pun tidak.”
‭‭(Roma‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬ ‭TB‬‬)

Tidak ada manusia yang layak di hadapan Allah maha kudus. Akibatnya ketika seorang kristen merasa ada dosa ia kehilangan keberanian mendekat kepada Allah; bahkan tidak berani datang ibadah atau berdoa, merasa tidak layak melayani di gereja. Ya, seorang yang berbuat dosa, ia memang harus bertobat, namun keyakinannya untuk mendekat kepada Allah, untuk berdoa, untuk melayani di gereja, dll. aktifitas rohani, hanya oleh kuasa Darah Yesus.

Terimakasih, ya Allah yang hidup untuk Darah Yesus yang telah melayakkan dan membenarkan saya, sehingga saya mempunyai keyakinan dan keberanian untuk datang kepada-Mu. Amin.

God’s word today:

“Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have CONFIDENCE to enter the Most Holy Place BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS,”
‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭19‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

There is a spiritual obstacle that is often not realized that has disturbed the relationship of Christians with the Most Holy God. That is when they feel they have some right things within themselves so that they feel worthy of being Christians, worthy of coming to
church to worship, worthy of serving God in church, worthy of praying, worthy of doing other spiritual activities.

In fact, no human being is truly righteous, all have been tainted by sin – “As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one;”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

No one is worthy before the holy God. As a result, when a Christian feels guilty of sin he loses the courage to approach God; no confidence to come into a church service to worship or pray, feeling unworthy to serve in the church. Yes, a person who sins must repent, but his confidence and worthiness to draw closer to God, to pray, to serve in church, only by the power of the Blood of Jesus.

Thank You, o living God for the Blood of Jesus has made me worthy and justified me, so that I have confidence and courage to come to You. Amen.
