Daily Bread: Remember His Love When You Are Weary

😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:

“THINK OF ALL the hostility HE ENDURED from sinful people; then you WON’T BECOME WEARY and GIVE UP. After all, you have not yet given your lives in your struggle against sin. And have you forgotten the encouraging words God spoke to you as his children? He said, “My child, don’t make light of the LORD’s discipline, and don’t give up when he corrects you. For the LORD disciplines those he loves, and he punishes each one he accepts as his child.””
‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭3‬-‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Lord Jesus, I REMEMBER WELL that on the cross, You carried my sins and my guilt. I am very grateful that You willingly and steadfastly endured such terrible suffering as You bore the sins of humanity, so that I would not become weary or lose heart.

And I REMEMBER the Scripture that speaks to me—that I am a child of God. I am very grateful that God the Father loves me, and I acknowledge the truth of His Word: the Lord disciplines those whom He loves, and He chastens those whom He accepts as His children.

I believe that by faith in the Lord Jesus, I have been adopted as a child of God. My heavenly Father truly loves me.
