Daily Bread: Hear God’s Voice Through Christ

😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:

“but in these LAST DAYS HE HAS SPOKEN to us BY HIS SON, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.”
‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬ ‭ESV‬‬)

In the past, God spoke in many ways—through prophets, visions, and signs. But the book of Hebrews tells us that in these last days, God has spoken to us by His Son. Jesus is not just another messenger; HE IS THE MESSAGE. His life reveals God’s heart, His cross displays God’s love, and His resurrection declares God’s victory.

This means we are not left guessing who God is or what He says.
*If a person wants to know God, he looks to Jesus.
*If a person wants to hear God’s voice, she listens to Jesus.

God still speaks today—but not by adding new truths beyond Christ. He speaks by bringing us back to His Son through Scripture, by His Spirit. Every true voice from God will agree with Jesus, point to Jesus, and glorify Jesus.

So the question is not whether God is speaking—but whether we are listening.

Today, come again to Christ. Open His Word. Let His voice shape your thoughts, your decisions, and your life.

I believe in Jesus, that God has spoken to me—and His word still speaks. Amen.
