Daily Bread: God’s Blessing at the End of the Battle

😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:

Paul closes letter to Ephesians not with instruction, but with a blessing—because in the end, the Christian life is sustained not merely by what we do, but BY WHAT GOD GIVES.

“Peace to the brothers and sisters, and love with faith FROM God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.” (Ephesians 6:23–24)

At the end of a long letter about spiritual battle, Paul doesn’t say, “Try harder.” He says, “Receive more.”

*Receive peace – when your heart is restless.
*Receive love and faith – when your strength feels thin.
*Receive grace – when you know you fall short.

And notice this: our love for Christ may feel small or imperfect, but Paul still speaks of a love that is undying, a love that endures—not because we are strong, but because God sustains it.

Open our heart with prayer:
“Lord, let Your peace settle me,
Your love and faith fill me,
and Your grace carry me.” Amen.

That is how the Christian life is lived: not from emptiness trying to reach the glorious God, but from fullness received from Him.

Bless you
