Daily Bread: Guided by His Word, Strengthened by His Presence

😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:

In any job, we must be diligent and persistent, but today’s Word of God reminds us through Joshua 1:8–9, that the key to success is not only human effort, but a life that adheres to God’s word-
“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.””
‭‭(Joshua‬ ‭1‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

God says: “Don’t forget to speak out His words, in heart meditate on it day and night”.
This means the word is not just to be read, but be a doer of His words—made part of our decisions, attitudes, and actions every day.

And when we choose to walk in the word, God gives us two great promises:
1. “Your journey will be successful” – It doesn’t mean without challenges, but God will open the way.
2. You are not alone.
Because He said: “Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Today, there may be challenges, uncertainty, or fear. But God strengthens us: “Be strong and courageous.”
Because God is the one who calls His people out, He is also the one who accompanies them to enter into His plan.

O Lord, teach us to love Your word, enable our minds and heart to meditate on it every day. Strengthen our hearts, so that we walk in faith, not in fear. Thank you, o Lord, for You are with us. Amen.
