😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:
“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble. Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.”
(1 Peter 5:5–6)
There is a story from India about a water carrier who carried two jars—one perfect and one cracked. Every day he walked to the river carrying both. The perfect jar always returned full of water, while the cracked one brought back only half.
One day the cracked jar felt ashamed and said, “I’m sorry… because of my flaw, I can only give half of what I should.”
The carrier smiled and replied,
“Have you ever noticed the beautiful flowers on your side of the path?”
The jar quietly nodded.
“I knew your weakness from the beginning,” he said. “That’s why I planted seeds along your side of the road. The water that leaked from you watered them every day. For the past two years, those flowers have decorated the master’s table.”
Friends, God also knows our weaknesses—even the ones we try to hide. But through humility, God can use our lives for His glory. We don’t need to be perfect—only surrendered and obedient.
In God’s hands, even weakness can become a blessing.
O Lord, I come to You with all my imperfections. Shape me according to Your will. Use my life as an instrument in Your kingdom. In humility, I surrender myself to You. Amen.
Bless you
