God’s word today:
“You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,”
(Psalm 30:11 ESV)
In this world not every moment that we live will bring a ‘dancing dan gladness moment’; there are times we are faced with situations that lead us in pain, tears and mourning. Joy and sorrow are two sides that come and go in this life on earth. But we can always learn to gain wisdom in every situation.
When King David went through a moment of ‘mourning and sackcloth’, he chose not getting bitter instead drawing himself closer to God and acknowledging only God has the power to turn mourning into dancing, sackcloth into gladness.
It is God who has the power to turn your circumstances. Therefore, may we choose a life closer to God.
