Daily Bread: When We Fail, He Remains Faithful

😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:

“The Lord had said to Abram, “GO from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I WILL SHOW YOU. “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.”
‭‭(Genesis‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

A story of Abram in the bible, the name then changed to Abraham, was a journey of a regular human being following the living God. Life journeys of Abraham in Genesis show how God was FAITHFUL in keeping his promises to Abraham. They show how sometimes Abraham was faithful to God and sometimes he wasnʼt faithful.
He was faithful when he went to Canaan with Sarai, Lot and everything they owned. He was faithful when he refused to grow rich from the king of Sodom. He trusted that God would provide what he needed.
Yet Abram wasnʼt faithful when he lied about Sarai to Pharaoh. He didnʼt trust God to take care of him in Egypt. Yet God remained faithful to Abram even when Abram wasnʼt faithful in return.

“If we are faithless, He remains faithful…”(II Tim.‬ ‭2‬:‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

We are human beings just like Abraham. When we are being unfaithful to God’s commands, remember that He remains faithful toward us. Thus by grace, quickly return back to God’s ways. Amen.
