Our Mission
People is our mission
Connect with God, make disciple
We are called to fulfill the Great Commission, not only to let people know about God and the eternal salvation, but touching hearts, improving lives, and creating second chances. We are here for the people, as a humble servant and wise counsel. We focus on the people, creating impact and changing them for the better.
Our Vision
We envision that every member of the congregation shall be developed and cultivated through 10 apostolic and dynamic visions so they may become the house of prayer, power, worship, covenant, word, mission, balance, giving, excellence, and leadership.
History of IFGF Tokyo
IFGF Tokyo began in 1989 from a small group of Indonesian students in Tokyo who gathered to worship and study the Word of God. In 1991, Pastor Caleb became the church’s pastor, and by God’s grace, the congregation grew in faith and outreach. The gospel reached many Indonesians in Tokyo, transforming lives through God’s forgiveness.
Between 1997 and 2002, several members were discipled and sent to plant churches across Japan, East Asia, and Indonesia. Today, IFGF Tokyo remains committed to its mission: reaching souls, discipling believers, and being a blessing to families and nations.
Meet Our Pastors

Pastor Caleb was raised in a family that did not yet know the Lord, with a background of diverse beliefs. While studying Real Estate Business at San Francisco State University, he had a personal encounter with God and decided to continue his studies at Portland Bible College.
Since 1991, Pastor Caleb has served as a pastor at IFGF Tokyo and has pioneered church planting in Japan and East Asia. With the heart of a shepherd and a spiritual father, he continues to build up and equip many people in their calling from God.
Pastor Lusi came to Japan in 1985 and graduated from Tokai University with a degree in Communication Engineering. She began to be involved in the pioneering of IFGF Tokyo in 1989.
In 1992, Pastor Lusi married Pastor Caleb, and together they serve as pastors and have planted churches in Japan and East Asia. She also completed a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership at HITS and holds a National Counselor Certification from LK3.
With the heart of a servant and teacher, Pastor Lusi desires to guide many people to grow in their faith and calling.
