😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:
“This is a GREAT MYSTERY, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.”
(Ephesians 5:32 NKJV)
FOUNDATION BIBLICAL MARRIAGE
(Ephesians 5:21–33)
“submitting to one another in the fear of God.
“Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord…”
“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved…”
Marriage, according to the Bible, is more than a relationship between a man and a woman. It is meant to reflect the beautiful relationship between Christ and His church. That is why the apostle Paul says this is a great mystery.
God reveals His heart and His love through marriage. When we trust His Word and follow His design, marriage becomes a place where His grace, love, and faithfulness are seen.
The Bible teaches us our part in this relationship.
We are called to submit to one another in the fear of God. This means living with humility, love, and respect.
Husbands are called to love their wives, just as Christ loved the church—sacrificially, faithfully, and wholeheartedly.
Wives are called to submit to their husbands as to the Lord, with trust and respect.
Let us pray not only for our own marriages, but also for the marriages of our children and the younger generation, that they may experience God’s truth and blessing in their families. Be grateful that He is a God who does not look for people’s failures; He looks for a heart that believes that the Lord is able and willing to restore a marriage.
Today, take time to open your Bible and read again Ephesians 5:21–33 with an open heart and listening ears. May God teach us and help us live according to His Word. Amen.
Bless you
