😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:
“I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace given me through the working of his power. Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ, and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things.”
(Ephesians 3:7-9 NIV)
The Apostle Paul called himself “I AM LESS the least of all the Lord’s people.” This was not because he lacked confidence, but because he was deeply aware of the help of God’s grace. Paul was a former persecutor of the church, yet God transformed his life and entrusted him with the ministry of proclaiming the riches of salvation in Jesus Christ.
Through this verse, Paul reminds us that being believers does not mean we are better than others. We are saved and used by God not because of our worthiness, but because of grace. The more Paul reflected on his sins in the past, the greater his gratitude to God became.
This reflection invites us to live in humility. Even a dark past is not a barrier for God to shape a repentant life into His vessel, to be a witness of the Gospel.
O Lord, thank You for Your grace. Teach us to live humbly and faithfully, and to realize that all we have and all we do are only by the help of Your grace. Amen.
Bless you
