Daily Bread: One Body in Jesus Christ

Firman Allah hari ini:

“This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are HEIRS TOGETHER with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.”
(Ephesians 3:6, NIV)

Praise God that through believing the gospel of Jesus Christ, Gentiles—those once considered outsiders of God’s covenant—now are welcomed fully into God’s family,

The key is in Christ. We are heirs together, members of one body, and sharers in the same promise of God’s salvation. Our unity is not based on race, culture, background, or history, but on faith in Jesus Christ alone.

This reminds the church that we are called to live as one spiritual family—willing to love one another and welcome others as Christ has welcomed us. So by grace, let’s we truly see fellow believers as one body with us in Christ, and we open to people who are different background from us.

Lord Jesus, thank You for including us in Your promise through the gospel. Help us to live as one body, willing to love others in humility and in grace. Teach us to welcome others as You have welcomed us. In Your name we pray, Amen.
