Daily Bread: Raised, Seated, and Destined for More Grace

😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:

“And in Christ Jesus He raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, so that IN THE AGES TO COME He might show the immeasurable riches of His grace, expressed in His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.”
(Ephesians 2:6–7)

‘More Grace That Awaits in the Future’

In Christ Jesus, the goodness of God is revealed not only by saving us from sin, but also by lifting us into a position of honor. God’s Word declares that He has RAISED US UP TOGETHER WITH CHRIST and SEATED US WITH HIM in the heavenly realms. This shows that the life of a believer now rests in God’s eternal authority, hope, and redemptive plan.

And God’s work does not stop with our present salvation. Ephesians 2:7 affirms that God has prepared a great grace for the future, “so that IN THE AGES TO COME He might show the immeasurable riches of His grace.” This means that God’s grace continues to flow and has not yet been fully revealed.

Even though the journey of life is not always easy, we know that our good God has prepared something far greater ahead of us. There is divine goodness, glory, and blessing waiting to be revealed to those who believe in Christ Jesus.

This truth strengthens our faith to live faithfully today, everyday. The life of a believer is not a life of lacking of grace, but a life that awaits the fullness of grace in the Lord.

Blessed be the Lord God, whose grace never runs out, abundant forevermore. Amen.
