Daily Bread: The Fullness of Time in Christ

😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:

“having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that IN THE DISPENSATION OF THE FULLNESS OF THE TIMES HE MIGHT GATHER TOGETHER IN ONE ALL THINGS IN CHRIST, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him.”
‭‭(Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬)

In this verse, the apostle Paul reveals God’s eternal plan—a plan that was hidden for ages but is now made known through Christ. The phrase “the dispensation of the fullness of the times” refers to God’s perfect timing, when His redemptive plan reaches its fulfillment.

God’s purpose is not only to save individuals but to- bring everything back into unity under Christ-. Sin brought division—between God and humanity, among people, and even within creation itself. But through Jesus, God is restoring order, peace, and harmony.

Paul says that God will “gather together in one all things in Christ”—things in heaven and things on earth. This means -Christ is the center- of all history, all redemption, and all creation. Nothing is outside His authority, and nothing is excluded from His reconciling work.

Let us trust God’s timing, rest in Christ’s authority, and live with confidence that our lives are part of a much greater story—a story that ends in unity, peace, and glory in Christ.

O Lord, thank You for revealing Your perfect plan through Jesus Christ. Help me trust Your timing and live fully surrendered to Christ, knowing that You are bringing all things together in Christ. Amen.
