God’s word today:
“Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?
(John 1:46 NIV)
In Jesus’ day, Nazareth was small, forgotten, ordinary place—never known for anything significant. So Nathanael questioned whether anything good could come from such a place. But when he came and met Jesus, doubt turned into faith. From a place people dismissed, God revealed His greatest gift—the Savior of the world.
Sometimes we may feel unworthy because of our past or limitations. Yet God delights in choosing what seems small or insignificant to reveal His glory.
“God chose what is low and despised… so that no one may boast before Him.”(1 Corinthians 1:28–30 NIV).
May we continue to grow in knowing Jesus—the One who came in humility yet changed eternity.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace that chooses me, not because of what I have done but because of Your love. Help me to know You more. Amen.
