Daily Bread: When Problems Rise Like Mountains, Look Higher

😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:

“…I lift up my eyes to the mountains; where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”
(Psalm 121:1-2 ESV)

“Mountains” usually represent major problems and issues facing a person. And when people face major challenges, it’s natural to seek help—”Where does my help come from?”
But the psalmist didn’t seek help from human strength, or from any other earthly source.

His answer was unequivocal:
“My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”
If He could create heaven and earth, He can certainly help us.
When there are:
*Difficulties at work.
*Anxiety about the future.
*Unhealed illness.
*Family problems.
*Financial constraints.
*Anxiety about what to do.

Before worry dictates your life, speak to yourself: “My help comes from the Lord.”

Dear Lord, today I choose to lift my eyes to You.
When I see life’s problems, remind me that You are bigger than all.
You are the source of my help, and You are never wrong in Your way, time and plan to help me.
In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Bless you
