Daily Bread: When the World Shakes, Rest in God

😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:

“And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately.”
(Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭6‬ NLT‬‬)

Yesterday we heard the news that American warplanes bombed 3 nuclear power plants in Iran. Surely in the coming days there will be more news, video clips about war on social media. Thank God, our All-Knowing God has told us: “You will hear of wars and threats of wars…”
What the Lord Jesus asks us to do is: “don’t panic” (not be troubled, not frightened).

Let’s draw our hearts closer to God even though the news is heard around us.

“Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.”
‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭62‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV‬‬)
