Daily Bread: He Sees Your Struggle, He Honors Your Faith

God’s word today:

“To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that YOU HAVE LITTLE STRENGTH, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.”
‭‭(Revelation‬ ‭3‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

Revelation 3:7-8 is a part of Jesus’ message to His Church at the time of the early church. The Church in Philadelphia is praised for faithfulness by keeping Christ’s word and not denying His name, eventhought they are experiencing difficulty and “HAVE LITTLE STRENGTH”

In your christian life you may feel “spiritually weak”, yet choose to keep your faith.
May our spiritual ears opened. And right now may we hear the voice of Jesus the Lord speaking to into our heart: “I know your deeds. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.”

Jesus my Lord, have mercy upon me. Thank you that you see me and you know that I have little strength in my faith. Yet I shall keep your word and I shall not deny your name in the midst of difficulty. Amen.
