Daily Bread: Don’t Let Fear Silence Your Faith

God’s word today:

“Even after Jesus had performed so many signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him. Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in him. But because of the Pharisees they would not openly acknowledge their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue; for they loved human praise more than PRAISE OF GOD.”
‭‭(John‬ ‭12‬:‭37‬, ‭42‬-‭43‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

Maybe you have heard some people have demanded that ‘if it is true there is God, then proves it’. You know what, the bible has written that indeed God has shown His power to people, “Jesus had performed SO MANY signs in their presence”, yet how some people would respond, ” they still would NOT BELIEVE”.
Therefore, the problem is not that God lacks in performing miracles but people choose to continue not believing.

Pray for family members and your friends and people daily around you in office, school, neighbourhood who have not received Jesus Christ yet, that they will not fear people’s opinion, that they choose not the human praise but seeking more the praise from God.
