Daily Bread: Worshiped in Heaven, Exalted on Earth

😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:

“And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let ALL GOD’s ANGELS WORSHIP HIM.””
‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭1‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

This verse in the book of Hebrews confirms that God the Father himself gave orders to all of God’s angels to worship Jesus.
*If Jesus was just a great religious teacher, or just an extraordinary prophet, then God was telling His angels to worship humans – that is a form of idolatry.

*If Jesus is only the ‘highest angel’, then God is telling angels to worship an angel – that too is a form of idolatry.

*If God the Father ordered all His created angels to worship Jesus, then Jesus is truly God, namely: the Person of the Son of God who came down from heaven to this world and took on human form.

“Jesus being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
‭‭(Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬-‭11‬)

I believe wholeheartedly
and my mouth confess that: ‘Jesus Christ is Lord, my Lord.’ Amen.
