Daily Bread: Praying for Faith, Love, and Hope That Endure

😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:

“We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in OUR PRAYERS, remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father,”
(I Thessalonians 1:2-3 NKJV)

Verses above were the prayer of apostle Paul and his team for the christians in the city of Thessalonica. And we could see what things Paul’s prayer for the church there: prayer for continuing of their work of FAITH, labor of LOVE, patience of HOPE in Jesus Christ.

Why is it important to really pray for these three areas? Because these areas that will last forever; meaning: as christians when we died we can bring these faith, hope, love into heaven with us (not our gold, wealth, nor any achievement on earth).

“Three things will LAST FOREVER—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.”
(1 Corinthians 13:13 NLT)

Job in bible says: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked shall I return there. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord.”
(Job 1:21 NKJV)

Dear God, may Your Spirit help and enable me to continue my work of FAITH, labor of LOVE, patience of HOPE in Jesus Christ. Amen.
