Daily Bread: Living a Life That Leads Others to Jesus

😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:

“The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “LOOK, THE LAMB OF GOD, who takes away the sin of the world!”…
“The next day John was there again with two of his disciples. When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, “LOOK, THE LAMB OF GOD!” When the two disciples heard him say this, THEY FOLLOWED Jesus.”
(John‬ ‭1‬:‭29‬ , 35‬-‭37‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

John the baptist has been known among the Israelites to preach repentance from sins and turning to the way of God. After he receives revelation, believes and knows who Jesus is, then whenever opportunity arises he points other people around to Jesus – “LOOK, THE LAMB OF GOD!”

My Lord, may you enable me in my daily activities to point other people around me to you, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. Amen.
