Daily Bread: Jesus, The Bread Without Yeast

😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:

“That same night they must roast the meat over a fire and EAT it along with bitter salad greens and BREAD MADE WITHOUT YEAST.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭12‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬

‘Yeast’ in the Bible spiritually depicts a life of sin. At the first Passover, in addition to the lamb that had to be slaughtered, the Israelites were also commanded to make bread WITHOUT YEAST and eat it. So the ‘bread without yeast’ (or unleavened bread) at Passover actually depicts Jesus’ holy life, untainted by sin, even though as a whole human being, Jesus also experienced various temptations and testings.
“…He faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin.”(Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭15‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Thank you, Lord Jesus, even though you have been tempted, testings in every way, you chose to obey the will of God the Father so that you never sin. Lord Jesus I believe You are ‘that bread without yeast’; I want to have communion with the Lord Jesus, to eat the bread-body of Jesus. Amen.

“I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.””
