😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:
An Israeli man named Omer Shem-Tov, was interviewed after being released from Gaza’s captivity by the radical Hamas group that attacked Israeli territory. He was a prisoner for 505 days (the 450 days was in an underground tunnel prison). Omer said that in the darkness underground, in fear and despair, he often sang a song, a prayer song in Israel from Psalm 121.
During the interview Omer said, “I felt this shield that God put me inside of it”.
Even though his suffering is very very difficult, because of the shield from God, there is a strength that helps his soul not be destroyed. And now Omer can testify to the world that there is God who guards and is with him in his suffering.
May the shield of God cover you when you read and hear Psalm 121 over your life. Amen.
“I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” Amen
(Psalms 121:1-8 NIV)
Bless you
