Daily Bread: Hearing And Obeying God’s Word Above All

God’s word today:

“…A woman in the crowd called out, “God bless your mother—the womb from which you came, and the breasts that nursed you!” Jesus replied, “But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice.””
(Luke 11:27-28 NLT)

The woman written in the Gospel of Luke is saying a blessing to Jesus’ family, especially to His mother. We are grateful when someone says words of blessings to us that God’s goodness will be upon us.

But even if there are no such words of blessing upon us, God still provides His goodness for those who choose to listen and obey His words, “Jesus replied, “But even MORE BLESSED are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice.””

Let’s open our spiritual ears and desiring to listen to the words of God and do obediently according to His instructions. Amen.
