Daily Bread: Building Strength Through Trials

God’s word today:

Problems and sufferings, when responded to correctly, are character builders:
“We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop ENDURANCE. And endurance develops STRENGTH OF CHARACTER, and character strengthens our confident HOPE of salvation.”
‭‭(Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Living in this world has its challenges, we can experience difficulties and suffering. Everyone could experience it. When we experience it, remember that we have a choice: to let the difficulties and suffering defeat us, or we choose to maintain a grateful heart and be willing to learn to understand God’s purposes in all the difficulties we face: to motivate us to change, to nurture and protect us, to develop endurance, strong characters, and persistent hope.

Thank you Lord, for You never leave me alone, and You are the God who works in me to bring goodness into my life. Amen.
