😇 Shalom to all
God’s word today:
As God’s Word states in Psalm 119:71, we too can experience good from the difficult circumstances we face, “It was good for me to be afflicted so that I MIGHT LEARN your decrees.”
Let’s learn and grow together so in facing difficulties, we can be on the lookout for how God is working to bring goodness.
2. God uses problems to nurture, to save and protect.
Joseph, the son of Jacob, suffered from the envy of his brothers: he was sold into slavery, then subjected to slander and imprisoned for several years. In all his suffering, Joseph, who guarded his heart and chose to live righteously, was finally able to understand the purpose of God in his sufferings; He said to his brothers,
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”
(Genesis 50:20 NIV)
I believe and trust that God is good; He nurtures and protects me in all seasons of my life. Amen.
Bless you
