Daily Bread: The Lord Guides Our Lives

😇 Shalom to all.

(Keluaran‬ ‭13‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭TB‬‬)

TUHAN MENUNTUN PERJALANAN HIDUP UMAT-NYA.

Amin.

Bless you

😇 Shalom to all.
God’s word today:

“When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though THAT WAS SHORTER. For God said, “If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt.” So God led the people around by the desert road toward the Red Sea…”
(Exodus‬ ‭13‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

THE LORD GUIDES THE LIVES’s OF HIS PEOPLE.

The Israelites were freed from slavery in Egypt and led by God to the land of Canaan. And it is God who guides their lives, not through the “the shortest way” (closest path), but through paths where God trains our faith, our hope so that we remain steadfast and become winners even when facing big challenges.
From the wisdom of God’s words above, we can now understand that ‘The shortest way of life’ – which considered by our thought as the easiest, the safest way of life, does not mean it is always the best way of life for His people.

I believe that God alone knows the best way of life for me. Therefore I surrender, and may You guide my steps, O God. Amen.

Bless you
