Daily Bread: Give Thanks In All Circumstances

Firman Allah hari ini:

“Mengucap syukurlah dalam segala hal, sebab itulah yang dikehendaki Allah di dalam Kristus Yesus bagi kamu.”
‭‭(1 Tesalonika‬ ‭5‬:‭18‬ ‭TB‬‬)

“Mengucap syukurlah dalam segala hal”, ini adalah kehendak Allah, bukan suatu pilihan.

Sekarang ini, tetapkan hati untuk bersyukur meskipun apa yang Anda lihat, meskipun menghadapi keadaan yang sulit. Ingatlah siapa Allah yang hidup itu dan apa yang telah Dia lakukan untuk kita. Ingatlah bahwa:
* Allah adalah pencipta hidup Anda.
* Allah adalah Bapa surgawi dan memelihara hidup Anda.
* Allah adalah perlindungan dan kekuatan Anda.
* Allah adalah Juruselamat dan sumber damai sejahtera Anda.

Ya Allahku dan Tuhanku, aku berterima kasih kepada-Mu dan juga atas semua yang telah Kau lakukan untukku! Bahkan di saat-saat sulit, Engkau tetap setia memelihara hidupku. Sebagai anak-Mu, mampukanlah aku untuk memiliki hati yang bersyukur dalam segala situasi hidup dan bukalah hatiku untuk menerima damai-sejahtera dan sukacita-Mu. Amin.

God’s word today:

“give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
‭‭(1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭18‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

“Give thanks in all circumstances” is the will of God, not an option.

Today, make decision to give thanks despite what you see, despite facing a tough circumstance. Remember who God is and what He has done for you. 
Remember that:
* God is the author of your life.
* God is your heavenly father and provider.
* God is your refuge and strength.
* God is your savior and peace.

My God and my Lord, thank you for Who you are and all that you’ve done for me! Even during hard times, You are faithful and true to your word. As your child, help me to have a thankful heart in every situation even in the midst of struggles, and open my heart to receive your peace and joy.
