Daily Bread: Necklace of Love & Faithfulness

Firman Allah hari ini:

“Janganlah kiranya kasih dan setia meninggalkan engkau! kalungkanlah itu pada LEHERMU, tuliskanlah itu pada loh hatimu,maka engkau akan mendapat kasih dan penghargaan dalam pandangan Allah serta manusia.” (Amsal‬ ‭3:3-4‬ ‭TB‬‬)

Kalung-indah pada leher merupakan sebuah asesori yang dapat terlihat ketika seseorang memakainya (dan normalnya kalung tidak tersembunyi). Firman di Amsal berkata bahwa Kasih dan Setia itu bagaikan perhiasan-kalung pada leher (ini area yang TERLIHAT oleh orang-orang).

Kiranya orang-orang dapat melihat ‘kalung kasih dan kesetiaan’ pada hidup kita.
Kiranya Kasih dan Kesetiaan boleh menjadi ekspresi tindakan kita yang indah bagi orang-orang di sekeliling kita.

“Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your NECK, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.”
‭‭(Proverbs‬ ‭3:3-4‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

A beautiful necklace on the neck is an accessory that can be seen when someone wears it (and normally necklaces are not hidden). The Word in Proverbs says that Love and Faithfulness are like jewels on the neck (this is the area that is VISIBLE to people).

May people can see the ‘necklace of love and faithfulness’ in our lives.
May Love and Faithfulness be the expressions of our beautiful acts for the people around us.
