Daily Bread: Obey & Fear The Lord

😇 Shalom to all.
Firman Allah hari ini:

“Tuhan Allah kita menyuruh kita melakukan semua perintah itu dan menghormati Dia. Kalau kita berbuat begitu, Ia akan selalu MEMELIHARA bangsa kita supaya TETAP HIDUP SEJAHTERA.”
‭‭(Ulangan‬ ‭6:24‬ ‭BIMK‬‬)

Allah kita, Pencipta Semesta, adalah Allah yang Maha Baik dan Bapa yang Sempurna. Dia ingin senantiasa memelihara ciptaanNya dan memberkati umat-Nya.
Pemeliharaan-Nya dan berkat-Nya yang memberikan hidup sejahtera bagi kita, berhubungan dengan ketaatan pada Perintah-Nya dan sikap kita terhadap Allah – ‘MELAKUKAN PERINTAH ALLAH, MENGHORMATI DIA, IA AKAN SELALU MEMELIHARA, SUPAYA TETAP HIDUP SEJAHTERA’.

Bukankah kita ingin senantiasa hidup sejahtera?

Ya Tuhan, saya ingin hidup
sejahtera sebagaimana Engkau juga menginginkan itu dialami umat-Mu. Oleh anugrah-Mu saya mau hidup mentaati Firman yang Engkau perintahkan padaku, dan saya menghormati dan takut akan Tuhan. Amin.

God’s word today:

“The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today.”
‭‭(Deuteronomy‬ ‭6‬:‭24‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

Our God, the Creator of the Universe, is the good and perfect heavenly Father. His desire is to care for His creation and bless His people.
His care and blessings that give us a prosperous life are related to obedience to His Commandments and our attitude towards God – “OBEY all these decrees and TO FEAR the Lord our God, so that we might always PROSPER”.

Don’t we want to always live in God’s prosperity?

Dear God, I want to live in Your prosperity as You also want Your people to experience it. By Your grace I choose obedience to the Word that You commanded me; Lord, I respect You and fear You. Amen.
