Daily Bread: By Faith

Shalom 😇 to all.
Firman Allah hari ini:

“Karena IMAN maka ia telah meninggalkan Mesir dengan tidak takut akan murka raja. Ia bertahan sama seperti ia melihat apa yang tidak kelihatan.”  (Ibrani 11:27)

Mata-jasmani yang sehat dapat melihat hal-hal jasmani, mata-rohani yang sehat dapat “melihat” (mengerti, mengenali) hal-hal rohani.

KARENA IMAN MUSA MELIHAT APA YANG TIDAK KELIHATAN. Iman dari Allah di dalam hidup Musa telah MENGUBAH pandangan hidupnya. Walau Musa dibesarkan sebagai anak raja Firaun dan tinggal di istana kerajaan Mesir di mana ia telah melihat dan bisa memperoleh segala kemewahan dan kenikmatan materi, kemampuan pendidikan yang tinggi, dan dihormati oleh banyak orang, namun ia lebih menginginkan kebaikan yang disediakan Allah di alam roh, sehingga ia memilih mengabdikan dirinya kepada Tuhan dan mengabdikan hidupnya untuk melayani umat pilihan Tuhan.

Semakin kita memahami firman Allah di Alkitab, semakin jelas kemampuan kita untuk melihat hal-hal rohani (damai sorgawi, hikmat, pengertian ilahi, dll.).

“…Perkataan-perkataan yang Kukatakan kepadamu adalah roh dan hidup.” Amin.

Healthy natural eyes can see physical things, healthy spiritual eyes can “see” (understand, recognize) things in the spirit realm.

BY FAITH MOSES SAW THE INVISIBLE.
Faith from God in Moses’ life CHANGES HIS VIEW IN LIFE. Even though Moses was raised as the son of king Pharaoh and lived in the royal palace of Egypt where he had seen and could obtain all the luxuries and material pleasures, high educational capabilities, and was respected by many people, he preferred the goodness that God provided in the spiritual realm and chose to dedicate himself to God and devote his life to serving His chosen people.

The more we understand God’s words in the Bible, the clearer our ability to see spiritual things (heavenly wisdom, peace, etc.).
